Lovely video. a great deal of the styles here were “natural” looking but were wigs or weaves (like most of the big afros). the flat twists are usually done with permed hair. a lot of locks now are done with weave.

I can’t wait ’till I turn 18 and get out of my house and start transitioning. It’d be great to just be rid of chemicals and the extra money it costs.
Some girls like me want to go natural but can’t because of their moms and their belief in relaxers.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my mom, but she’s so stuck up sometimes.
There’s nothing wrong with natural or “nappy” as some like to call it. It can be very beautiful.
